With over 20 years of experience in caring for a wide variety of animals, our love for these creatures inspired the creation of Animalia. We are confident in the specialist care and knowledge we provide, which allows us to combine our respect and enthusiasm for all creatures with a job we love, sharing that passion with others.
Our sessions are fun, educational, and tailored to meet your specific needs, making them popular for a variety of settings, including birthday celebrations, care home visits, fundraising events, art classes, and photo shoots.

Animal welfare is our utmost priority and we follow the Animal Welfare Acts Five Freedoms;
- FREEDOM FROM HUNGER OR THIRST by ready access to fresh water and a diet to maintain full health and vigour.
- FREEDOM FROM DISCOMFORT by providing an appropriate environment including shelter and a comfortable resting area.
- FREEDOM FROM PAIN, INJURY OR DISEASE by prevention or rapid diagnosis and treatment.
- FREEDOM TO EXPRESS (MOST) NORMAL BEHAVIOR by providing sufficient space, proper facilities and company of the animal's own kind.
- FREEDOM FROM FEAR AND DISTRESS by ensuring conditions and treatment which avoid mental suffering.
Please be aware that any reputable animal handling company should have the following:
- DBS certificates
- Public Liability Insurance
- Risk/Safety Assessments
- Performing Animal Licence from their local authority
Make sure to ask for these documents before booking. Additionally, some exotic species are not deemed suitable for handling sessions by the RSPCA. Please consider this when booking an animal handling or encounter company.
